Saludos! We’re midway through July, can you believe it? Time goes by way too fast. I’ve been spending my time at the hospital with ER shadowing shifts and my usual UC/family med shifts. I haven’t had much time to enjoy the weather and el verano (summer). But, I’m hoping some of you have been able to!

​This is our last installment of pharm/medications in Spanish. This one will be short and sweet. 

Phrases

​This medication will relieve your symptoms— este medicamento es para aliviar sus síntomas
This medication is to control—este medicamento es para controlar su:
  • Asthma – asma
  • Diabetes – diabetes
  • Gout – gota
  • Heart rate— ritmo cardíaco 
  • High blood pressure—alta presion
This medication is to relieve--este medicamento es para aliviar su: 
  • Anxiety—ansiedad
  • Palpitations— palpitaciones
  • Pain in—Dolor en (insert body part)
